The man started listing the kind of work he had been doing before. Quite impressive. And if Zara didn't have a cybernetic arm, and couldn't turn into a figurative rage monster, she might have actually been quite intimidated considering her background. She had heard about his kind before. People that lost their glory days of fighting the vampires, and now hired themselves out to do any kind of job. In fact, a bounty hunter or two she had dealt with in the past had probably been of similar background as Kevin. "Anything you tell about yourself is interesting. It helps me form a picture of what kind of man you are." She spoke, moving to sit on her knees and bend forward, to get a better angle on the bike. "As for me, I don't think it's interesting at all. I worked as a barwoman before the virus showed up, and did some hacking on the side as a hobby. Naturally, I was one of the first to get infected. At first I didn't even know myself, though. But I started getting restless, and a few days later I suddenly ripped a man apart after he came to harass me when I was closing the bar. I killed a man, had eaten part of his arm, leg, and neck before I came to senses again. Funnily enough, I felt more alive then than I had ever before. Was a pretty scary feeling to get from killing someone. I realised what had happened after thinking about it for the rest of the night, but was in denial. Took another week before it happened again, this time to a random woman on the street. I fled the city after that. The months after that are a bit of a haze. But I finally managed to get some connections after making a deal with an information broker. The money was a blessing at the time, so I decided to set up base in one of the abandoned buildings. And after searching for a while I found this place. Tapping from the power lines and getting an internet connection was the easy part. The rest I have here took longer. Though it's a decent home now. And if you're wondering, I haven't gone nuts for a good year or so now. One of the connections I made was with a guy at the waste disposal company. I buy what I need from him." She kept her explanation 'clean', as the way she ate was...unpleasant to watch for most to say the least. It was like tasting human flesh was a trigger of some kind, which made her something akin to a hungry beast until she was sated. As she was talking she kept on tinkering with her bike, every now and then bending forwards a bit more to get a better look. She only had a decent idea of what she was doing. But there wasn't exactly anyone else that could do this for her. Or at least not for a price she could afford. Luckily she had fixed the fuel intake once before, so things were a bit easier this time.
