Having showered and allowed Brutus back into the house, Dimitri now sat cross legged on his bed with nothing more on him than a towel draped over his head, his insulator gloves, and a pair of basketball shorts. In front of Dimitri lied a ziplock bag, a rubber lined cube shaped container sporting an electrical hazard symbol, and his weapon, deactivated and locked into it's open position to allow him to change the battery. The hunter carefully extracted the old battery and placed it in the ziplock bag for later disposal. The plastic bag warped a bit from what heat remained form the device's usage, however luckily for Dimitri it didn't melt, leaving him free to continue his activity. Dimitri opened up the hazard bearing container and was greeted with three rows of the same sort of battery, each row sporting four seperate units save for the last one, which held three. He deftly plucked another one from the container and rolled it in his gloved hand a bit to ensure there was no external damage, all the while taking a moment to drink in this little miracle of science. The battery itself was fairly small-about the length of his palm, but it held a terrifying amount of energy. Each new battery was capable of running his weapon continuously for about a month on it's lowest setting. At his weapon's highest setting, a flesh and organ scalding 1500 mA, each battery could run the device continuously for about an hour before ceasing to function properly as the batteries themselves could not withstand hear quite as well as the actual weapon they powered. With a soft yawn Dimitri closed the weapon's battery port and locked it back into place with a firm click. With a fresh battery in place Dimitri held the weapon outwards and calmly pressed the trigger, bringing both ends of the glaive out with the sudden loud noise of metal sliding over metal. He examined both ends of the weapon, ensuring that the bladed portion retained enough of an edge to cut, but not so sharp as to chip easily against something solid, and that the javelin portion of his weapon still sported a sharp tip and durable base. After this came the final test: Dimitri took a moment to gaze at the full power indicator on his weapon before pressing the trigger once more and rolling his thumb along it. Dimitri only stopped once he saw sparks fly, after which he deactivated and collapsed the weapon, content with the knowledge that the rather expensive battery wouldn't have to be replaced early. Now with the last of his tasks finished, Dimitri set the glaive, ziplock bag, and battery container on the nightstand on his bed before he ducked underneath his bedsheets and switched off the lamp. From the corner of his room Dimitri could hear Brutus snoring in his dog bed, and it wasn't long before the hunter followed after, completely unaware of the fact that records regarding him and by extension, the Cromwell family were being viewed by a certain grudge bearing wizard.
