After their brief vacation Rin and Marcus returned to their duties, millions of miles apart. Months later their paths crossed again when the Battlestar Rin was stationed on was called in to extract Marcus team. The mission went fairly smoothly and they were on their way back to the safe zone. As soon as Rin was off of duty she set out to try and find Marcus.
