As for the background, how about your character is minding their own business when Gonad suddenly drops in, having purely by chance and accident fallen into a dimensional rift and ended up in this plane? One miscommunication later and we got ourselves a spectacle. 

Also, would it be alright for one of my friends to drop in through the same portal and just leave an intro post for his character before leaving? His character comes from the same realm as Gonad and he'd like to take part in this site.
