Alex realized how awkward this moment must have been for Matt, and he felt bad, but luckily Valencia got him to come back over. When they called the names, Alex was happy but sad at the same time. He was happy because he had his own cabin, and he liked to have a place to be by himself every once in a while. He was sad because now he had to be away from Valencia, since the cabins were probably separated into two different areas: one for boys and one for girls. Matt went to go find his cabin.
"Ok, bye Matt." Alex replied to his statement.
"Well, I guess I'm gonna go find my room." he said to Valencia. "I'll meet you at the fire pit later, alright?"
He started to walk off towards his cabin.
