Personality: Charles is a menace. There's no other way to put it. Pulling pranks, picking on people and basically being a complete jerk to everyone around him is Charles's daily routine. He has a distinct contempt for rules and authority, and often goes out of his way to annoy teachers and other figures around the school. He is very arrogant and likes to intimidate people into doing things for him. Once he has made up his mind on something, he rarely ever changes it. However, to his parents he acts like a model student. He hardly ever has much remorse for his actions. He is very skeptical of things and if you try to talk anything about the supernatural to him, he will either punch you or get others to laugh. As a result, he holds the Occult Club in very low regards. He can be very foolish with his actions if he gets to involved in things.

History: Charles was born in Kensington, London, to a rich family of lawyers. Everything that he ever needed was pretty much handed to him on a plate, which lead to his arrogant attitude to life. He went to a snobbish primary school, which was filled with people just like him. He loved it there, and was quite happy. But, at the age of 9, he moved to Japan, against his every will. His parents had got a new business opportunity there, which would make them even richer. But Charles didn't want to leave. His parents tried everything to make him happy, but, try as they might, nothing succeeded. 

On his first day at Yurei High, Charles got into a fight with someone who had tripped him up as he was walking through the corridors. Lets just say that no one ever bothered Charles again after that. He rose the ranks of popularity due to his intimidation. He dumped girlfriend after girlfriend, leaving tears in his wake. People who attempted to snitch on were dealt with harshly. Charles didn't do amazing in tests, yet he didn't do horribly. He stayed average, to keep himself off the teacher's radar.

But on one fateful night, Charles had broken into the school after dark to vandalize the walls with spray paint. Halfway through the act, out came the head of the Occult Club from a nearby room. With her phone. She had taken a picture of Charles spraypainting the walls. Matsushima told him that he could join the Occult club and the picture wouldn't fall into the hands of the principal, Charles's parents and the police. Charles lunged at the her, but was left on the ground after the girl stepped out of the way and tripped him up. She showed Charles her phone. She had typed 110 (the Japanese police number) into the dialpad and her thumb was lingering dangerously over the call button. He had no choice. He was now a (reluctant) member of the Occult Club.

Skills: 

-Charles has a distinct way with words and can lie his way out of most situations.
-Charles cannot kick very well, at all, but his punches are brutal.
-He is quite light on his feet and can sneak around quite well.
-He is an expert at using fear to his advantage.

Other: Charles has been secretly planning to steal Matsushima's phone and delete the picture from day one.
