After his encounter with 'The Healer' girl, Maxi decided not to take the subway as he felt that being underground could be nothing more than a death trap if he and the ice girl were to run into hunters there. Walking for a little while and talking to the kid, along with the occasional stopping to look out for any hunters who could be scouting. With a few hours going by, the ice girl was getting tired, not really having the energy to keep on, let alone, making it to Maxi's apartment.

On this leg of the traveling, Maxi stopped to take a look around so to find a place to rest for the night. Using an x-ray spell to look around, Maxi caught sight of some activity going on in a library close by. Books putting itself up, with a cart rolling by itself, and a man sitting while reading a book. Well if Maxi felt that there was a need to get familiar with others like him, now would be the time and hopefully he could convince this guy in the library to let them stay...hope that at least this person show consideration for his own kind.

Taking the girl by the hand, Maxi walked over to the door, trying to open the door and then banged on it.
