Kind of like how Britain relied on Germany prior to WW1 (and then they were fucked when they declared war on Germans before realizing this tiny fact).
The only issue is my reliance on mithril in general. I so wish to outsource my industries a bit to make my nation more dependent on others for plot reasons but my specialize industries makes this kinda hard at times.
[@Wernher]To solve this paradox how about making a portion of your pureblooded Dragons part of the alchemists? So Yllendthyr willingly discloses the secret of creating mithril to you and you can produce our goods with license, for example.
