Lewis attempted to let out a chuckle to lighten his words, but it came out half-hearted and barely sincere. Lewis opened his mouth, and began to say something witty, or slightly sarcastic, but he lost any type of ability to speak, still stuck in mid-reflection. It was hard to believe he was actually dead, but he refused to allow it show how shocked and depressing it was to him, especially to Lily.
