Kyo almost froze when the boy looked back at him, but continued forward anyway, eyes cast down a bit in what he hoped did not look to be too confrontational. He wasn't very used to other people yet. As he got closer, he produced the pencil and paper, quickly writing in a corner of the paper before displaying it to his companion.
