He baffled the vets, though - he was only 2 months old yet he was showing all signs of a stroke. He was completely fine the day before, then we woke up Monday morning and found him in a right state. He was blind in one eye (which was also weeping), he was drooling at the mouth, he couldn't pull his mess out of his arse, he was walking in circles and he leant to one side while walking. It was pretty hard. The vet did say they could try him on antibiotics, but he more than likely would've had to be put down the day after, and he would've suffered more, too. I think the hardest part was the fact we live in a flat block (or apartment, whatever) with a communal garden, so we couldn't bury his body. Instead the vet cremated him (and we don't even have his ashes because they do more than one animal at a time). So yeah, it's been hard.
