I've been studying this conflict since you mentioned it, its very fascinating, and I'm going to add that as canon for this RP that japan is a warring state

[@Skepic]'s backstory implies a similar situation in germany, which ties in nicely to the red baronesses back story. The only fixed bit of current world events is that the state of Texas has pretty much became its own tyrannical empire and has waged war on many countries including Canada.
