Gideon switched into the school his freshman year, initially he intentionally isolated himself from his peers, but eventually he began to interact with others. He is known for being calm and kind, although he still keeps his distance. In school, he generally stands at the apex of physical activities and competitions even when pitted against upper classman, but his grades are only average.
