Over 25 vessels are caught in a fierce naval traffic jam as ships try and leave the bay simultaneously. The light cruiser [i]RSN Minawa[/i] and destroyer [i]RSN Nel[/i] collide, causing enough damage to [i]Nel[/i] to force her to abandon her operation.[/indent]

[indent]The [b]First Invasion Fleet[/b] (1 BB, 8 DD, 5 LC) finds the two [b][color=lightgreen]Sumayan[/color][/b] destroyers [i]RSN Sutedi[/i] and [i]Senoputra[/i] shelling Zellonian positions on the coast. The short lived [color=red]Battle of Davao[/color] lasts less than an hour as the pre-dreadnought [i]ZRS Zellox[/i] sinks the [i]Senoputra[/i] with a single barrage from her 12" guns and the [i]Virtue, Famine[/i] and [i]Crossroad[/i] catch and destroy the [i]Sutedi[/i] when it turned back north.

[b]January 11th[/b]: The [b][color=purple]Soroyan First Battle Fleet[/color][/b], composed of eight ships with 2 Pre-Dreadnoughts, 2 Light Cruisers and 4 destroyers sorties from [b]Fort Talip[/b] and sinks the [b][color=blue]Anvegad[/color][/b] merchant ships [i]Argent, Nucourt,[/i] and [i]Scybella[/i].

[indent]The [b]First Invasion Fleet[/b] (1 BB, 8 DD, 5 LC) reaches the inlet of the [i]Bay of Suma[/i] and spots the [b][color=lightgreen]Sumayan First Fleet[/color][/b] (2 BB, 1 CA, 3 CL, 8 DD) heading in from the west. Without orders regarding enemy contact, Admiral Tavington orders his men to battle stations.

At 11:16 the [i]ZRS Zellox[/i] began heading north toward the incoming fleet, then turned slightly northeast to bring it's guns to bear on the incoming Sumayan ships. At 11:21 the [i]ZRS Zellox[/i] opens fire on the [i]RSN Raku[/i], the lead ship of the [b][color=lightgreen]First Sumayan Fleet[/color][/b]. With two pre-dreadnoughts however, the [i]Zellox[/i] was simply outclassed.

At 11:35 the Sumayan light cruiser [i]RSN Gao[/i] scores a successful hit on the ammunition magazine of the [i]ZRS Zell'S Ambitions[/i] and she explodes in a ball of fire. The [i]ZRS Zellox[/i], fearful that she was attempting a torpedo run, sinks the destroyer [i]RSN Sakem[/i] with a volley.

By 12:31 the battle had largely been decided. Only the [i]ZRS Home[/i] and [i]ZRS Crossroad[/i] made it clear of the bay, sailing southeast. They headed back around the island and limped into port at Sucre.

The city of [b]Dezos[/b] is captured without a fight, and the [color=purple][b]Soroyan First Colonial Army[/b][/color] (40,000 Regulars 250 Cruska Guns, 50 Light Artillery) establish their defensive line along the Kedris.

[b]January 26th-29th[/b]: The [b][color=red]Battle of Kedris[/color][/b] begins when the [i]5th Tyran Heavy Rifles[/i] attack the Soroyan trenches after a heavy artillery barrage. Soroyan Cruska Guns set up cut down charging [b]Anvegadian[/b] troops. The 5th Tyran Heavy Rifles reach the Soroyan trenches but cannot inflict adequate enough casualties to break the line. Once word reached Anvegad of the offensive attack, the commander of the [b]Anvegadian Expeditionary Force[/b] was dismissed and replaced by [b]General Korso “Black Hand” Markham[/b].

[b]February 1st[/b]
-- Production on a [b]Minor Shipyard[/b] begins in Lochacre, [b][color=gray]Kalpia[/color][/b].
-- Under [b]General Korso "Black Hand" Markham[/b], the [b][color=blue]Anvegadian Expeditionary Force[/color][/b] ceases offensive actions and instead digs in, engaging in mild trench artillery barrages. 

[b]February 2nd-4th[/b]: The 16th Anvehold Legionnaire Regiment of the [color=blue]Empire of Anvegad[/color] finishes conquering Dezos and approaches Kedris from the south. Much less defended, the [color=red][b]Second Battle of Kedris[/b][/color] takes place. Lasting two days, the Anvehold Legionnaire's assault the southern line of the [b][color=purple]Soroyan First Colonial Army[/color][/b], but intentionally maintained a creeping advance, and only a small breakthrough was made, forcing the Colonials back into the town of Kedris.

[indent]The city of [b]Davao[/b] is retaken by the [b][color=lightgreen]Sumayan Empire[/color][/b].

The Deltoran region of [b]Eastern Serranthia[/b] had long been a tenuous position. With a population of 650,000 Khaitis, these citizens long considered themselves members of the [b][color=maroon]Grand Survaek Empire[/color][/b], though they were ruled by Deltorans. Just weeks before the new year, Deltoran General Leroux had ordered the Serranthian garrison out of [b]Eastern Serranthia[/b], and west of the river in that region. In a journal entry, dated November 26th, 1904, Leroux explained why:

[indent][i]The air was heavy with tension. When we walked past, the Serranthians eyed us with heavy hatred in their hearts. They toiled away in the mines only at the point of a bayonet, and I slept only when the winds had quieted, so that I might hear if they came for me. I will order the garrison back, for if not, they will surely fall upon us, and no amount of firepower will save us.[/i][/indent]

With the garrison depleted, the Khaitis there revolted, sacking the town of Faris in the east. The [b]Khaitis Revolt[/b] was a bloodless affair.

[b]February 7th[/b]: Military commanders in the [color=lightblue]Kingdom of Aontas[/color] finalize their theses on artillery barrages utilized to break up entrenched enemies in heavy [b]Indirect Artillery[/b] barrages.

[b]February 8th[/b]: The [color=orange]Xian Republic[/color] receives a shipment of 4,000 Ishui Model 11 machine guns, purchased from the [b][color=maroon]Grand Survaek Empire[/color][/b].

[b]February 10th[/b]: Sighted along the coast, the [b][color=blue]Anvegadian Fifth Fleet[/color][/b] heads to cut off the fleeing [b][color=purple]Soroyan Second Battle Fleet[/color][/b]. Knowing that it could not outrun the fleet that was headed to intercept, they turned to fight in the [b][color=red]Battle of the Faresian Sea[/color][/b].

At 07:57 the pre-dreadnought [i]SRF Reijmink[/i] opened fired on the Anvegadian armored cruiser [i]ANV Guardian[/i]. The battle had begun. With better positioning, the Anvegadian fleet was slightly outgunned. At 08:13 the destroyer [i]SRF Duis[/i] was set afire by a direct hit to the bridge by the light cruiser [i]ANV Valiant[/i].

Minutes later at 08:16 the [i]ANV Pike[/i] turns out of the battle line when it's rudder jams, and it starts circling aimless. The pre-dreadnought [i]SRF Reijmink[/i] opens fire on the Anvegadian pre-dreadnought [i]ANV Sovereign[/i]. By 08:35 the [i]ANV Sovereign[/i] had two of it's stern turrets knocked out, and it's captain had been killed by the heavy Soroyan barrage. It turned from the battle line, listing heavily from port.

The Soroyan destroyer [i]SRF Kromhoff[/i] was sunk after a third full barrage from the [i]ANV Guardian[/i]. With the [i]ANV Sovereign[/i] heavily damaged, the [b]Anvegadian Fifth Fleet[/b] turns south away from the Soroyan Fleet, which does not pursue, breaking off southeast after shelling the [i]ANV Pike[/i] and sinking it. If repairs to either pre-dreadnought were to be made, they could not be made at a colonial port but required a home port.

The Battle lasted almost two weeks.

The [b][color=red]Yamaranese Shogunate[/color][/b] maintained it's line for as long as possible, but General Lang Shao-Ren had orders to breakthrough. After heavy casualties after repeated infantry charges, the line broke, the Xianese were through and had an open route to Sagon, Basai. Almost 100,000 casualties were recorded.

They request that a portion of the Kingdom of Kelric be granted to them by international agreement, allowing the Empire of Mille-Sessau access to the sea.  To justify the request, they cite their nation's dependence on trade, historical claims over lands in Kelric, and a significant population of Sessauan speakers in the southern portion of Kelric.

[b]Zellonia, Kalpia, Soroya[/b], and [b]Deltora[/b] are the voters in this conference. Each nation chooses one first choice (worth 2 “points) and one second choice (worth 1 “point”). The option with the most points will be implemented.

[[b]Partition Kelric[/b]]: Mille-Sessau's claims are valid, and a territorial concession may prevent them from taking more aggressive measures against their neighbors.  We will force Kelric to concede to the petition's demands.
