[b]Marcus Pyre[/b] On he ran into the daylight, pursuit long since given up hope of finding the vagabond who had fled the scene. Marcus had no way of knowing that, which only made him run all the faster to.. where was he going? His mind wandered even as he continued to run through the streets in a rush to be free of his own accident and the subsequent consequences of being, AGAIN, fooled by those who would do harm. What would he give to help just ONE person in actual, meaningful, distr- [b]*CLANG*[/b] Without looking where he was going, the big man had run face first into what he believed to be a building or even a moving vehicle! Whatever it was, it was sturdy and metallic. Fallen on his rump he touched his nose tenderly, eliciting a hiss of pain. Thankfully it was not broken. He began to apologize but suddenly realized what had, and was, happening. A metallic.. thing was holding a defenseless woman in its metallic hands, the ominous blue glow clearly something awful! Without even thinking of it he drew his sword from his belt and quickly stood in an offensive stance, sword in front of him in both hands. "MONSTER! RELEASE THE WOMAN NOW OR YOU WILL BE PUT DOWN!"
