I don't need to plan every single thing ahead time but I was just unsure of what direction you had in mind based on the end of your post. I figured he'd take Rose's bait and they'd look around the city or something, Nine was busy, I get it. But I do find it a bit pointless to wait for every response just to get a character moving in the same direction. I don't control people's characters unless it's to make something move along that's been decided. (ex: a question about direction is asked such as going out , and if as a writer I know we are going in said direction anyway, I can move along with the characters and not need to wait for a post to confirm something so we can just get moving). Doing things as we go is fine by me but I can't do things off the fly if there isn't much of even an implied direction or desire. I like talking with partners, making sure both people are happy with the story, if people just do whatever they went, things tend to dwindle, as I've found. Your style is to just go with the flow, mine isn't. It's best we try to meet in the middle. Or stop now and say we tired. :/ Character actions don't reflect writer's actions, I know this to be true. But if you want Nine to swan off and find something out on his own, that's fine, but I won't be able to keep justifying Rose asking all of these questions and sticking around without some event or glue that makes Nine stand out instead of being labeled some crazy guy who might be a bit mental ya know? ^^; He just arrived and she has no idea what to make of him. I can keep my posts much shorter if you want to deal with some dialogue or something. I'm just trying to make this work.
