It's far more action oriented, less set up, more chases. Like a Bond film but with a thief as a main character. Whose neither good nor bad, just in it for the money, or just because he can. Most of the Lupin episodes are rather loose formatted, meaning there isn't much of a connected story. There have been episodes that are in archs but for the most part you can jump in whenever.
