Cindy groaned as she stood before the sight that was her good friend Jolene's car, a 2003 Mercury Sable. The windshield was smashed in by a brick, and it had offensive words and phrases spraypainted on the sides. Along with being keyed. Cindy put her hands on her hips while giving her friend Jolene a narrow look - who returned it with an awkward smile. "I told you that you need to stop fucking with those kinds of boys. You only got one car, and they fucked it up." "I know, I know..." Jolene awkwardly said. After the whole thing at the beach, Cindy decided to lay low for a little bit. She's been keeping up with the news, the war with REAPER was starting to get a little intense. So, she figured that she'd keep to herself much as possible. Shit was a little wild. She really messed up that man's hand... but he deserved it just a little. Cindy let out a sigh. A problem that was cropping up was all the rain that was going on. Like, shit. Too much damn rain. Nobody wanted to go outside - she couldn't play tennis with anyone. She could only hang out with her multitude of friends and hope they don't rope her into something stupid. Though a part of the girl suspected that something else was out there. Someone's behind all this rain. She just hoped that NEST could get to the bottom of it before she got dragged into it. She felt a raindrop hit her in the head. ... Speak of the devil. "Hurry up, Cindy!" Jolene put her hands on her head, ruffing through her dyed strawberry blonde, and light-pink hair. "My car's about to get soaked!" "Alright, I got this!" Cindy said as she raised her hands in the air. She willed the broken pieces of glass that scattered all over the seats to fly up into the air. Rainfall came down a little harder, fortunately the hyalokinetic managed to form a - albeit cracked - pane of glass that quickly merged together, and formed one solid pane. Completely repaired her car... but knowing Jolene, that ain't going to last long. So, Cindy decided to add a little something extra to it. She put her hand on the windshield, and started dispensing glass. Pouring the glass into the windshield, and created two separate layers of glass. One hard and dense, and another soft. Effectively turning her windshield into bulletproof glass. She released her slippery hand from the glass. Cindy quickly turned around back towards Jolene, and she put her hands on her hips. "Alright, I fixed it. I also made it a little tougher just in case you do something else to piss them all off." She rolled her eyes. "Thank you, Cindy!" Jolene said. She looked at Cindy's completely soaked top, and just had to comment, "Uh, maybe you should have made an umbrella first?" Cindy looked down, and shook her head. God damn it. She'll probably be freezing her tits off if this rain keeps up. Thank God her jean shorts didn't get touched by water even in the slightest. Her eyes peered up at Jolene, and she gave her friend a narrow glare. "... It's good, it's good." She said, annoyed. She knew that she was coming off as a little passive aggressive, but, with Jolene, it barely mattered. She raised her hand in the air to create a glass umbrella... but the rain suddenly stopped. Cindy raised her eyebrow and gave the sky a narrow look. "Would ya' make up your mind?" She asked no one in particular, annoyed. "Well, at least you don't have to worry about your top getting anymore wet." "Oh shut up." Cindy rolled her eyes. "I'll just have to head back to my crib to get changed." She looked down again, and said, "Nah, I'll be fine." She laughed a little bit, before she raised her head and looked back up at Jolene, "How about you? Wanna hang out at the Candy Club?" "I can't... I have to find a soap manipulating Metahuman to wash this spraypaint off my car. Ha." Jolene joked as she opened the door to her car. "Maybe later - but I'll talk to you later!" She turned the keys in her ignition, before driving off. "Hey, wait!" Cindy put her hand out, before shaking her head. God damn it. All Jolene wanted was her damn power. Nothing else. It made Cindy feel so used. She watched as Jolene drove off and just had to resist the urge to decrease the density of the windshield. She closed her eyes and said to herself, "No, no... let it go. Just make her pay you next time." That meant that it was time for Cindy to skip along. She quickly walked over to her scooter, and grabbed onto her white helmet. She put it on her head - her brown afro-puffs poking out from underneath it - and got up on her scooter. She turned the keys and revved it's little engine! Cindy loved this thing! It was the best Christmas present her father ever got her (Even though she could have gotten a newer model, this one was great for traversing the streets of Verthaven). Cindy was off. She reached the streets of Verthaven and was zipping around on her scooter. She had no idea where she was going - so much to do in Verthaven, and she can't find anything. What a sad, sad situation. Well, she was in Knightdale Rows, and the Candy Club wasn't that far away. She could probably hang out there, instead of spending all day in her apartment... or getting used by her friends. The white came to a stop right outside the Candy Club, Cindy stepped off of it and walked up. Good thing that she's a de-facto employee, and gets her own de-facto employee keys. She put her keys in, and opened the door and exposed the dark as hell space that was this Club. It's only active during the night, so Cindy had it all to herself long as she didn't trash the place. She flicked the lightswitch, and the lights exposed the Amusement-Park themed, candy-styled, club. Cindy put her hands on her hips as she looked at it. Well, her dad certainly knew how to pick 'em. Cindy shrugged as she slid into one of the booths, and laid down on her back. She did the first thing that came to mind, and pulled out her phone. She had a question or two that she wanted to ask Meifeng... yo, Meifeng, ur mom hasnt called me lately 2 watch li. What's up? I need cash. A few minutes later, Meifeng replied. I dont know. she's ben home drinkin al dam week. Sumthing's up. Well, damn it. er thing cool cant say it is wanna hang out maybe later i'm playin a game oh that's surprising shaddup With that, Cindy finished their text exchange. Now, she was wondering who she could text next.
