While the minor bodilly wounds that stephen had sustained were healed, tiny saw that his status didn't change, his mind currently in a state of great damage and flux, leaving him in a comatose state that didn't have a currently definite end. While stephen's body lies dormant, his new arm remains active, warping and changing almost constantly before spreading, animating him via the will of some sort of unnatural hunger. Tiny was the first victim of said hunger, stephen's arm shooting out unnaturally, clasping around his throat and visibly draining the magic out of him, the light glow around him flowing into the crystal until there was nothing left.
