Alyon pulled off her robe and gave it a quick shake before draping it over Fraya's head and body like a long cloak. "Unfortunately there are some people that really don't like non-humans," she whispered into Fraya's ear, "These people usually blame events from long ago, or their own personal experiences with a particular species for their radical reasons. Sometimes it can be minor, like a simple distrust. Other times it's a full hatred with members of that race dragged out into the city square and killed outright." Alyon was carefully guiding her way into the town, making sure that they avoided the larger crowds until they reached a suitable destination. She kept an eye on Fraya, ensuring that she wasn't too far behind and didn't accidentally venture down a pathway or into a shop that looked out of the ordinary. "This is my first time in Gol so I don't know what the local expectations are like. I could be completely wrong, but when you have places like Vemrahm where they make an effort to actually hunt and kill any non-human that show intelligence, you can't be too careful." She ended her explanation as they approached a lone building in the to the side of their pathway that was large enough to house many travellers and keep them entertained with the pub that was on the ground level. Alyon stepped in through the doorway and approached the front counter. The sound of people entertaining themselves with a drink and possible gambling could be heard from of the side rooms. Alyon tapped the bell that hung off the wall and a high pitch ping rang throughout the inn. "Haha! Hold on boys, I think I have some customers," a voice from the back spoke as a tall, scruffy looking man walked out into the entrance and towards his front desk. "Hello and welcome. What do you need?" "Looking for a room for a few nights," Alyon enquired. "I assume for you two?" he queried, taking a look at Fraya and analysing her appearance carefully, "That will be 3 gold pieces per night with a minimum of 3 nights." He smiled slightly with a grin that seemed somewhat sinister. Alyon gawked at the price he offered, knowing that he was overcharging. Chances are that there wouldn't be many Inns in the town to begin with so she bit her tongue and instead pulled out from her pack the two scimitars that they obtained at the Crypt. "We'll take it," she replied, placing the weapons on the table but keeping her hand firmly pressed down until she finished what she had to say, "On the provider that we get free meals, and a bar tab." She could see the man eyeing the weapons off with a glint in his eye. Without taking his gaze off the merchandise he leaned across and picked up a key for a room, placing it on the table and also keeping his hand firmly pressed down. "You have yourself a deal," he spoke, pushing the key across at the same time that Alyon pushed the sabres across to him. She took her hands off the swords and picked up the key to which he replied, "Second floor up, 3rd door from the stairwell."
