Core beliefs:  We believe that all beings have the right to become the best being they can become.  We support the absolute freedom of all intelligent beings to better themselves through whatever means they wish, including cybernetics, genetic, chemical and biological enhancements, mental and physical training, the force, and any other method they may desire to use.  We believe that the law should give no special treatment to anyone regardless of what position they hold or what they can do, and as such we believe that laws should apply to rulers as well as the governed.  While rulers may use their position to try and improve the lives of those over whom they rule, they may be challenged, both through political means and physical means, by any who disagree.  This has lead to only the strongest people rising to power, and their rule is usually quite benign, as any law which greatly effects others may end in their death.  Any politician that claims to be a member of this party must agree to the rules of challenge before they can run as a member of this party.
Views on the Force:  The force is a tool.  Some can use it and some cannot, but it is not sacred and it makes noone automatically superior because of their ability to use it.  This is what the ancient Sith didn't understand, that being superior isn't just a matter of physical power or Force ability, it is also mental.  To truly be superior, one must strive for superiority in every facet of life, constantly bettering oneself, not just tying yourself down to the study of an energy field created by life.

Personality:  He wants to be the best, and is always pushing himself to his limits.  Since arriving on Earth he has started studying Earth's philosophy and culture so that he can understand the people of this new world.
Bio:  Born to a family of miners on Korriban, he was looked down on by the more Traditional of Sith citizens.  He saw that they had a better life then him by virtue of birth and money, and he wanted to change that, to surpass them.  Discovering that he was Force sensitive was the first step on his journey.  He threw himself into his studies, practicing for two hours per day after completing his school lessons.  Soon he was stronger in the Force than any of the students, and a rival for many of the teachers.
He continued to train himself, mentally, physically, and with the Force throughout school, preferring to train rather than waste time socializing.  When he graduated and joined the workforce, however, he realized that his social skills left much to be desired.  Not wanting to fall behind on his other skills but wanting to improve his social skills, he joined a society of fellow Force users and spent many years as a member of the group.
Eventually, he decided that he was strong enough to join the Populist party in full, not just support it.  He signed up and took a position as Ambassador to some of the outlying mining colonies.  There he made a name for himself as a fair and honest Arbiter and, when Earth was discovered, he applied to be sent there instead.  He won the position.
