well what's so bad about post-singularity, may I ask? I'm fine with being cyborg dudes and all, but I really wanna try out the fully-robotic concept and see how they'd even work in a story like this. Is it because 'post-singularity' implies they're great at EVERYTHING?

I'm really meaning that the society itself has just invented A.I. and brain-uploading 'just a year or two ago', but they're not that technologically advanced yet in other areas compared to most of the other societies. I'm mostly using that as a backdrop so we can have some tech-oriented philosophy with our spookiness, since I really like that. It'd be really neat having spooky shit happening and the fleshy-captain of my squad having squabbles with the fully-robotic brain-uploaded second-in-command, and maybe it even going violent.

If you really don't want me to have fully-robotic brain-uploaded trooper dudes mixed in with my power-armored (maybe) fleshies, I guess that's fine. It is your RP after-all.
