[@Zendrelax] That's some very good advice, and I'm glad to see that you're so interested. I'll be sure to add you to the waiting list. I've been thinking about the whole Flora and Fauna thing, and discussing it with my GM's. To tell you the truth, I don't think any of us are that keen to put so much effort into it. Which sounds lazy (because it is) but my thought process behind it is basically; a) While it's important to the world building, it's not the central focus of the roleplay. I would rather just leave it up to the imaginations of the roleplayers to come up with interesting animals and plant life with each new area we encounter. Which brings me to, b) We're probably not gonna be spending years in one area of Eden. Eden is a WHOLE world, and our journey will take us to different continents at different stages of technology. (I mean seeing as I'm basing this off of Indigenous Australian's, I'll use the example that the British civilisation was so far ahead of the Aboriginals when they first came to Australia). So with that in mind, I don't think ANY roleplayer can be bothered learning the names of different plants and animals for every new area. Heck, I'm the GM and I don't even think I can be bothered creating them. My proposal is that we go about it very casually. We just make them up as we need to use them in the IC. We'll make sure to put thought into their names and appearance to keep them culturally accurate and fantasy like.
