Soon there would be campfires, parties and hikes, so what was the point in exposing the fact she was a social little butterfly just yet? Checking her phone, she would realize that she had a few texts from home. To: Sis From: John hey, hows camp? do i have permission to rade whats left of your room? oh, by the way, Viv already went through your clothes. she said since u left her for the whole summer that she thought it was fair 2 take them and mayb give them bck l8r. Upon reading the text, Sable would roll her eyes. How could she forgot to tell Viv goodbye? For crying out loud the girls had been best friends since they were 5. Oh well, she could have the clothes. Sable had brought her favorite outfits with her anyways. Continuing to sit and check her social media and all the things that followed along with it, the girl would feel someone pull out one of her earbuds from her ears. Turning around quickly, she already had a snarky insult in her head, but looking up, she would find no one but Sebastian himself. "Hey, is everything okay? Why are you so distant from us? From everyone." Oh, to be snarky, truthful? How about a mixture of both? Maybe it would fail, maybe it would work. Oh well, here goes nothing. "I'm not that distant," the girl responded, her voice neutral and a bit low. I mean, it's only the first day of camp. After all, you guys seemed to have your own little conversation and I'm not all that good of friends with any of you, so, there wasn't any reason for me to just waltz over and insert myself into the little group. Pausing for a moment, she would purse her lips before speaking again. "What's it matter to you anyway, Sebastian?" People was something that Sable had no problem with, but why did people refuse to see that sometimes all she wanted to do was listen to her music -nothing more, nothing less-? Oh well, at least he was actually speaking to her. That was more than anticipated. After all, the two of them had a few interesting conversations last summer, but other than that, nothing to take note of. Now aware of just how loud her music was, as well as the fact she had missed the ending to her song, Sable would take out her other earbud, pause her playlist and turn down the volume for future references.
