Dan finally found his way back to the dining hall to find it packed with students. He had been right behind Dani and Roze when he dropped his bag and the ink bottle inside it smashed.

He sat across from three fifth year students who were chatting rather loudly to each other.

[b]"Did you hear about the Slytherin Quidditch team?"[/b]

[b]"Who hasn't heard? Suspended... for a whole year."[/b]

[b]"With that cheatin' lot gone, it'll  be easy to snatch the cup this year."[/b]

[i]A whole year![/i] Dan thought to himself. A couple of matches maybe, but a year, that would be pretty harsh. Dan looked, and felt, quite alone. A first year, sitting bye himself eating a chicken leg when he remembered... His detention.

He dropped his chicken leg back on his plate and rushed from the great hall, his robes billowing behind him. He burst out of the castle and felt the cool night air on his face as he ran towards the mass of golden light in the darkness. He ran faster and faster and only slowed down when he could se the outlines of bodies.

He arrived just in time to hear the explanation of what they were doing. He looked around for Dani and Roze, but couldn't find them in the mass of students. He was then suddenly being forced into the ominous looking for by older students. He couldn't see and reached for his wand in his robes. He felt the wand in his hand and extracted it from his robes.

The area around him illuminated and he could see Roze's blonde hair in the distance. He walked beside her, and lowered his wand so it wasn't right in her face.

[color=0072bc]"Hey. Did anything exciting happen while I was gone? I heard about the Slytherin team being suspended. A bit unfair, isn't it?"[/color]
