Exactly. With light, you can use Holy abilities, healing, divine light and such. Your backstory seems fine now. With your power, no need to mention it, it's just applied. As I said before, it's ok to go powerful, you're meant to be strong, but don't go too op. ^^ 

In this game, OP is killing the boss instantly, world ending powers and such. For example, Gravity Manipulation,
