Scarlet pulled to girl to her and hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry you had to see that...its nothing for a young thing like you to see. I swear I won't let anything happen to you...and that we will get you home safe and sound...I swear it" 

Avery laid back down and rubbed her eyes. She looked up at him and said "I didn't get a chance to say thank you for stopped me before...if I had spilled that captain's blood, I don't know what would have happened..." She sighed then said "How is the rest of the crew? I saw Bane had a nasty cut on his shoulder...and Iris's knee gives her trouble after fights...make sure to look at that will you? And Amelia and Scarlet...I didn't see them so could you check on them for me?" She rubbed her head again, feeling tired.
