Cosette felt more relieved when people began to join them in helping the girls, but when she saw the headmaster appear, she tensed up a little. While she didn't hate authority figures, they did make her kind of nervous. Cosette took the opportunity to speak up though. "Actually, Headmaster, those boys," she pointed to the offensive males that were hurting the two girls, "were bullying those two girls. We just came to help."
