Iron Enigma Hotel Basement -- Grant Vale
Grant grinned as he watched the Mystic Beasts' antics. He seemed to be enjoying, almost reveling in, their hatred, uncaring it was directed towards his father. Glancing at back Solux as she spoke of living as a monster forever, it seemed as if his grin was sowed permanently onto his face. Once Lockheart finished explaining her wish to bring pain to his father, a plan began forming in Grant's mind, and he looked over the two with renewed vision. "Deyja, mind taking Solux out with you as you go tell whomever is in the Lacrima room to take an hour off, at my request." He would wait for his two guild mates to leave, and give them a minute or so before looking back at Lockheart, his eyes gleaming with sinister glee. "So, how well we get alone from here on out depends entirely on how flexible your plan is, and if you're willing to help me. I'm not at all adverse to helping you, so long as you help me as well." He'd move back and lean against the corner of the wall between the hallway and the room that made up most of the basement. "You see, I am planning on killing my sister, which is something you two look like you could definitely provide assistance with at a rapidly approaching date." The look Grant had suggested they might not have a lot of choice in the matter if they really want to get to his father. [@Lugubrious]
Mithera -- Hotel Room
As Valek left the hotel Mithera was in, he would have to have been a fool not to feel the eyes following him through the city no matter where he went, though no one disturbed him. It seemed that Iron Enigma had an extensive network, even in Crocus. Back at the Hotel, Mithera bathed herself yet again in the sink of a hotel, though this time she didn't feel nearly as clean as she climbed out. She decided drip-drying was more preferable, and she climbed back onto the bed she had slept on the night before. She crawled under the blankets and lay flat on her stomach, hoping that if someone broke into the room to try and get her wouldn't immediately notice the tiny dragon hiding under the blankets like a coward while she waited for Valak to return with food. Lucky for her, she didn't really have anything to worry about, as Iron Enigma had no intention of retrieving her as long as she didn't leave town. [@Crimson Raven]
