[@Vulkan]I agree, that the shocks would be unbelievable, but I don't think they can really last that long. They aren't designed to withstand gunfire, but rather shield the user from a detonating bomb. Obviously a good few shots would be stopped, or so, but it could just be weakened really easily by repetitive or high-calibre rounds being fired at it, much like a normal vest.
