Alyon turned towards the crowd and surveyed the scene, trying to spot the possible person that would have been the culprit to the sneakiest pocket theft of all time. She looked at the faces of each person trying to recognise them but as time went on she came to the harsh realisation that she'll never find out who stole her money. She let out a hard sigh as she began to walk back to the inn that they were both staying within. "Of all the things that could happen now," she muttered to herself, gritting her teeth at how foolish she was to be so trusting of the people around her. Each step back felt like another step down the walk of shame, and the entire trip itself felt longer than the trip to the station due to Alyon thoughts about how to explain this to Fraya. "We've got a few nights accommodation. That should be enough time to earn some coinage off a couple of jobs" Stepping around the corner, Alyon could see the front of the inn where they were staying and she walked through the front door and towards the steps that lead up to their floor. She placed her hand on the rail and began to pull her body up the stairs, really regretting the conversation that she was about to have with Fraya. As she approached the door she gave it a quick knock before opening the handle and stepping into the vacant room. Alyon was confused. She told Fraya that she wasn't going to be long and as she scouted around the room, checking in the must unusual places for where a body may decide to hide, it became apparent that she wasn't around. "Strange..." she mumbled to herself, grabbing her sword from under the bed and equipping it on her belt before walking downstairs to check the bar and other rooms. "You 'lright there?" called out a voice from the inn keeper as he noticed Alyon glancing round the place in confusion. "Um, yeah... you seen my friend around anywhere?" she asked, trying to not sound concerned but more inquisitive. "Maybe..." he spoke, giving a long pause so that he drew Alyon's attention from her search and leaving her hanging for a bit. "I can't say yes, and I can't say no... but there was this girl that left the building recently. Wasn't wearing much so we thought that it was just one of our patrons who decided to hire a lady friend for a few hours." He gave a subtle shrug, gesturing that he didn't know too much more than that. "God damn it," Alyon swore as she turned around and and walked towards the entrance, sitting on the front step and thinking about the situation. You know, you don't have to go find her. "No, I do need to find her." But she's a dangerous species. She can't be trusted. Alyon reached down and scratched an itch on her right leg. She paused for a moment and pulled up the bottom of her pants to reveal the calf muscle. She could see the cuts in her leg from when the Tree spirit attacked them a few nights earlier, remembering that Fraya was the one that came to her rescue. Alyon growled for a moment as she stood up off the step and prepared her search for her missing companion. What good was she if she wasn't going to return the favour at some point.
