I have a character in mind, but I can't for the life of me think of what his past problem would be to suit it. As well, the idea of the character is that he is a British special officer, as well as secret weapon for the recently founded UKPD, or United Kingdoms' Processor Division. The idea for it is that after powers started appearing, the UK was sure to reign in as many as possible to ensure both their safety and cooperation. In this division, the supers (or "Processors") are used as highly powerful and capable soldiers of extreme regard, which are extremely valuable. My character would be one of the more powerful, who has been sent overseas to aid in the capture of the criminal that killed the President. And as well, the ability I have chosen to use will be Weapon generation and manipulation, or as I call it "Weapon-smithing". It is the ability to create virtually any weapon that can be immediately used in an instant. Therefore guns, melee, grenades, etc are fair game, where as missiles, nukes and other weapons that take a while are off limits. It is also limited in the fact that is can only be used to create weapons that either exist now or have existed, so no laser rifles or mini nuke guns. This okay, [@TheUnknowable]?
We could say that it was something like a Star Trek hologram, where you can make things that appear solid, but the only real trick you can do with them is to make sound/ light flashes and to move them. Kind of like the Lantern constructs, but full color and without energy beam attacks. Also, because you studied weapons you know exactly how they work, so you can make them, but not things like computers which you don't understand the workings of. Just a thought, though. The trauma could be that you were caught without a weapon when you really needed one. Depending on your character's back story, it could be in a fight, when arresting a drug dealer, when being mugged, or something else.
