Consider re-reading Wraith's post. He made an addition that I think slipped by!

I'm up for Kieran and Freddie having some kind of relationship. But I'm also wanting Freddie to be enemies with Hillan's character, Luthor. It might be more interesting to have the El and Luthor be friends, due to their personalities but also their histories. In which case it would make more sense for Kieran and Freddie to not get along.
