She had everything she desired from a young age, her parents completely pampering and spoiling their only daughter. However, they did manage to prevent themselves from going overboard, knowing full well that recovering from that stage would not be an easy one. Being an only child had its privileges and disadvantages. She had all of her parents unfettered love and attention, but while her parents were away, all she had for company was the housekeeper. And she made for poor company. Despite having a bevy of rich and affluent children of her own age to play and make friends with inside her parents extensive social circles, she found them to be incredibly haughty and conceited, and not her cup of tea.
