[@Cultural Titan] I think I'll just remove Joan. I kind of really like Lucinda as a character and I'm worried that having multiple characters will make it hard for me to focus on her. Lucinda, while not meant for combat, has her own unique tools that make her effective against the Dark Side. Not that she'll be fighting them often, but if she ever had to ward them off or protect herself she'd be quite competent. Although I'm not sure how the others would feel about that. Her magic doesn't necessarily make her stronger than those of darkness, but it's certainly an effective tool for keeping them at bay should she ever have to. But this all depends if Lucinda gets accepted and people are alright with the concept of Sunlight Sorcery being a powerful means of delaying the advances of the Dark Side. Plus there's also her sword, Eclipse, which is also a very effective weapon against darkness. Although I don't intend for her to use it; a Queen doesn't just wave around a sword to defend herself after all. I was actually hoping of passing it on to someone in character. A right of passage if you will. I think the reason I made Joan the way she was is because even though I agree to an extent that the dark side should be stronger than the light at the start; I feel like there has to be significant hurdles for them to overcome as well instead of just rolling through towns, creating mayhem and destruction. Even though I'm withdrawing Joan, I feel as though Lucinda's power could act as one of those hurdles. In a sense, the Queen is really an embodiment of the Light. That wasn't the intention when I made her, but it seems to fit.
