My friend [@GoddessSophia] is having some troubles getting onto the site.  She hit post earlier today and she got the eternal hourglass followed with the message that the connection had timed out.  She is currently unable to log into the site because of this connection timing out issue.  She is from UK if that makes a difference.

Is this a known issue?  Below is an excerpt from our exchange of emails on the subject.

Like I mentioned, I was writing your reply and when I clicked send...it buffered for a bit but then came up as system timed out. So I refreshed so I could send your message again. And it kept doing that, and now keeps reading err...system error. Connection timed out. Then below it says view saved copy...but it doesn't let me do anything on the site just read :( It's been like this for over an hour or so :(
