Aria heard him, but she was a bit too preoccupied with trying to not become lunch. Even as he circled around the mountain, she continued to panic, though more internally. She didn't want to die! She had so much to live for! Marriage, having a child, growing old with a man; it wasn't fair! Suddenly, she was put down, and instantly she ran to the cliff edge, not about to kill herself, but rather to find a way down. But it was pretty clear there was no way down for her. A pit formed in her stomach as she sat down. She was going to die, one way or another. Her eyes welled up, and she let out a sob, covering her face.
