"Maxwell, no.." ROUFF! ROUFF!! BAARK! "Maxwell.. no~.." GGGRRRRR, ROUFF!! BARK BARK RARGH! "MAXWELL! THAT'S ENOUGH!.. Look buddy, we'll only be out here a little while longer, okay? Besides, we still haven't found anything to eat yet." Rrrmmmm, Rrrrmmmm.. "I know, buddy.. Come on, let's keep looking okay?" Wally exclaimed with a kind smile as he rubbed the white dog's ruffled hair with a smile. Maxwell happily barked and followed after the teenage boy, racing towards the massive heaps of destruction and ruins left behind from the great civilization of "New York City". Thanks to the cryogenic unfreezing process, Wally's memory was heavily damaged and most of the information he had gained in his short 17 years (according to the machine. In truth, he forgot his own age). Ever since he was accidentally unfrozen, Wally had been surviving on the desolate world that had been ravaged by the "Buy'n'Large" corporation's pollution and disposal of waste. From what he remembered of the day he was unfrozen, he saw at least thirteen or so people also stored (the real number was closer to the hundreds. Wally forgot how to count as a result of the unfreezing process and had to re-learn it from scratch), but his tube had been heavily damaged by time and a malfunction caused him to be freed. It was in that same laboratory where he met Maxwell, his loyal companion. Maxwell had been stored in the Cryo-labs because he was one of thirteen samples of a species known as "Dog's" on Earth. Wally unwillingly opened the puppy's capsule, but upon doing it he discovered his very best friend in the whole wide world. As Wally pulled a pair of large and goofy-looking goggles over his eyes to protect him from the wind, he began to realize just how odd the moment had become. Wind? Yes, dirt flew around and got in his face, but never had it been this windy on a normal day. During a sandstorm, sure, but today was actually nice out for a change (the dirt clouds had parted and allowed the sun to fully cover the dusty landscape, and the wind had not been blowing at all before that moment). Curious about the strange occurrence the weather had just experienced, Wally sat up and looked over at Maxwell, who had covered his face with his paws to protect himself from the dirt. "Max.. Is it just me or is something seriously wrong here?" he asked the mutt, who responded with a low growl. "Exactly what I thought, buddy.." As Wally looked around to try and discover where the wind was coming from, he saw a massive white cylinder the size of a building slowly dropping down from the sky in the distance. It wasn't there before, so perhaps that's where the sudden winds had come from. Rolling up his sleeves, Wally began to march towards the tall white thingy with the intent of scolding it. Obviously, he wasn't sure what it was, but he had no way of telling wether or not it was alive. When he arrived at the location of the giant white structure, something popped out from the top and was lowered a few feet in front of him by some sort of claw. Wally raised an eyebrow at this, but soon he saw the tall, sleek figure of whatever the thing was begin moving. It looked him him.. But different. This one had long white hair, wore an all white outfit it, had two odd looking lumps on its chest, and seemed to wear boots with what he remembered seeing as 'Heels'. However, when the creature smile, Wally felt something odd happen in the pit of his stomach. It was a tingling feeling, making him want to throw up, but also forcing him to continue watching. Then, the creature took off into the air and began to twirl around majestically, laughing and giggling as it swooped and turned. Wally smiled at this and continued watching, while Maxwell let out a happy bark. Then, the creature turned its head to see the car Wally and Maxwell were crouched behind and blasted a hole in it, frightening the two friends. As they lay there, shivering and holding each other tightly, Wally watched as the creature slowly began to float away. "W-W-W.... What was t-that thing?!" Wally quietly exclaimed, his voice full of fear.
