The Templars who are it's visible will in the form of soldiers and mages. Then there are The Watchers of Serenity, agents of The Order who operate in the shadows. These stealth agents subtly maintain order throughout the continent while maintaining their anonymity. The Watchers operate completely independent of The Templars and they answer only to the Lord Templar, or they did until the Lord Templar's recent death. Now The Watchers maintain their organization but under a new leader, completely cutting ties with The Order. Tyr is an agent of The Watchers and has been from her birth. While she was still a baby her parents were murdered by a Renmer raider group. Her family lived along the eastern coast of Miras, not far from them was the Renmer island Ik'thal. From there the Renmer sailed to the continent and attacked Tyr's family home. Her father was murdered in the defense of his family and her mother was taken captive. The babe was left alive and alone and for a day the child cried in isolation before help arrived in the form of a Watcher. His name was Reis and he'd been sent to investigate the coast for signs of another Renmer incursion. Instead he found Tyr, alone and helpless, Reis took the child and raised her while serving The Watchers. As Tyr grew older she inevitably took an interest in her adopted father's profession and so her training as a Watcher began. Trained in coercion, stealth, subterfuge, and combat the young girl quickly became a prodigy. It was not until she was 18 that she learned of the fate of her parents and from that day on she harbored a strong hatred for the Renmer. Now she continues to serve as a Watcher Assassin, silently observing the ebb and flow of political power across Miras. On multiple occasions she has been forced to kill and each time she's become more proficient at the cost of her empathy towards others. It's cover is of black leather and the pages made from fine vellum. This is more than a diary but rather a log of everyone she's killed and other memorable events in her life.
Post Example The moon was full as numerous clouds floated across its face. This night was particularly dark despite the light of the moon being at it's fullest. The target was a nobleman suspected of treason and conspiracy to weaken Farendar to Renmer invasion. Her mission was to infiltrate the noble's countryside estate and uncover any evidence confirming suspicions. Tyr sat perched in the trees overlooking the nobleman's manor. From there she could see the estate itself and the wall surrounding it's perimeter, leaving space between the two by about 50 feet of garden. "Sir Ardal, lesser lord of the western hinterlands. A pariah amongst his peers and a dishonorable man by Farendar standards. Likely looking for a way to raise his standing and so makes a deal with the Renmer", Tyr's blood began to boil at the mention of the word "Renmer". Those dark elves were all evil in her eyes and those who served them deserved no mercy. Still, it was not her place to pass punishment, not now at least. She still needed to find evidence of his conspiracy and so the assassin examined the grounds. "The perimeter is under constant guard, patrols are regular with only five minute stops at various checkpoints. The South Gate seems to have the longest time delay between guard swaps, eliminate the posted guards and infiltrate from there", getting in was the easy part, it was maneuvering the halls undetected was going to be slightly less easy.
