Bern, Switzerland. Fujiwara no Mokou
It was pleasant talking to someone. Someone who didn't instantly raise their guard up and eye her with suspicion. Keine was one such person, but she wasn't here right now. "Whoah!" Something just appeared behind them, placing a hand upon the two of them. The first thing that went through her mind was hate. Hate for these tendrils creeping about her mind, that feeling that creature gave off. There was a similar feeling coming from one of those sisters living in old hell, but she at least, was trying hard not to dig too much, so as to not offend. Her temper flared, kept in check only by the realization she would accidentally incinerate Sam beside her if she rampaged here. The creature brought them to an odd sort of place, as if they were flying but not, with the feeling of an invisible floor beneath them. Images of a war fought far from here floated about the place, no doubt some sort of scrying magic. She scratched her head as the creature spoke about threats that would come to their world if this was left unchecked, and apparently wanting her to join them to help protect their homeworlds together. Those things fighting each other was certainly impressive... for normal humans that was. Though they might be able to field more people than the small land sealed off from normal time and space that was Gensokyo, she didn't have any reason to think they'd be able to invade it. "Well, that's all well and good, but I doubt anything less than the lunarians can even enter Gensokyo to invade it. Not with the Hakurei barrier still standing, and certainly not with the shrine maiden defending it." Mokou kept silent about the fact she was suddenly pulled out of Gensokyo even with the barrier. Realizing she was getting angrier for no reason, she calmed herself down. The creature certainly felt like a mind reader, but perhaps it was more accepted in its society to be so. But she didn't like it, and that feeling it exuded. "I'm afraid I have to refuse. I have to worry about myself before I worry about other places. I found Gensokyo once before, so I'm bound to find it again. Please send me back down." After all, an organization claiming they wish to prevent large scale meddling with other worlds while brazenly doing it themselves was surely not doing it for altruistic reasons.
