There's a suggested time scale? This is the first I'm hearing of this.
Every five pages is a month. Currently it is mid-July, 1980. What Aaron is talking about is that, since it takes us a while to clear five pages, time in Precipice moves waaayyy slower than time in the real world. In the year and a half we've been in the RPG, we've only covered two and a half months. But, as Evan says, the month system is just a thing we pretend exists to make Aaron feel good, so don't worry about it too much, because the only real effect of the system is to make shit happen very quickly in the Precipice world. The most infamous example of how this time system works is the North American War timeline, as demonstrated in this handy dandy gif. ...and it is 1970 there because we've had a habit of occasionally skipping time. So the periods in PoW that were actually RPed were January 1970 to April 1971, May 1976 to August 1977, and Febuary - March and May - July of 1980. Also don't worry too much about that, because with the African War and the evolution of our RPing styles, I don't see a timeskip in our immediate future. Also, did Byrd discover meth? That posting rate makes Aaron look like Hugs.
