S'nashi's words drove home just how much of an impact Ahnasha's departure had on the family. Ahnasha had clearly misjudged her parents more than she even could have known walking into the shop. Indeed, Fendros couldn't have known either by only briefly talking to Gwindir beforehand.

Though Fendros was shocked, he didn't respond as outwardly as Gwindir and Vasiq; he just didn't know S'nashi as well as everyone else did. He just kept quiet and tried not start shedding tears himself. He hoped, more strongly this time, that the family could find it in themselves to forgive Ahnasha.
