[@OtomostheCrazy] (bruh. IC...) [@Ace of flames01] Preparing the spell took an hour or so to finish. The bindings needed to be painted in two circles where the participants stood and looked upon one another. Eye contact was important. The seals were all in place, the two cups were in hand along with a small knife for each of them. Bartuc trembled at the thought of binding himself. One quick look at Ruinil showed she clearly felt the same. "When this is done.. You will never need to fear. I will protect you as my queen. When the fighting is done.. Protect me from myself. You'll understand.." With a nod he began. The words were soft spoken but held a power in itself. The room was quiet but the more words spoken from the scroll, the louder it seemed to get. The circles began to glow a bright white and Bartuc lifted his knife to Ruinils extended wrist and made a shallow cut and let the blood flow to the cup. Ruinil mirrored him a moment later and drew a long cut. When the cups filled they stared into each others eyes an recited their vows. To love and learn till dust was all that remained. To walk the path together. They drank heavily from the cup and swooned. The blood was thick and full of magic, it burned their throat and tore the soul from the body to flow out into the open. Both souls gravitated around each other slowly st first but rapidly began to accelerate. Finally they shattered into billions of tiny particles that lit the room like diamonds. After a short time they finally drifted back together but as one large entity. It contained every aspect of two beings, the meshing of demon elf and human becoming one. The soul separated itself and drifted two equal parts into Ruinil and Bartuc. The combination of each one. The binding changes their physical bodies to match the soul and it seized Bartuc firmly. He almost blacked out from the pain as fire seemed to explode through every inch of his body. Cuts long healed and scarred fades entirely, his eyes took on Ruinils crimson hue and his muscles bulged under the strain of demonic strength settling into every inch of his body. Hair that had gone salt and pepper turned to a deep black. At the back of his mind the bloodlust that consumed him began to increase its terrible hold over his mind. The hunger to kill became a howl he fought to suppress. After what seemed like an eternity the glow faded and his body was free of the binding. Though he could not see her, he felt Ruinil keenly. She was a short distance away. He smiled and guided himself in the dark to her with ease, lifting her from the floor and easing her onto the bed. When she awoke, her guardian would be laying on his back on the floor sound asleep too.
