Woo! Glad to pass the screening exam. If it’s alright with you, I’d like for my character to already be a resident at the house. Name: Kaycee (K.C.) Barrow Age: 24 Gender: Female Race: Leanan sidhe
Appearance:
Personality: Kaycee is an artist, or at least considers herself one; it might be more accurate to say that Kaycee is obsessed with art and artists of all sorts. Always one to enjoy going to galleries or concerts, Kaycee surrounds herself with those in the art world. Due to her true race, Kaycee has a tendency to be rather flirty, often to the point where personal space is invaded. A notorious flirt though she is never seen capitalizing upon it- not for lack of trying on the part of those who find themselves enamored with her, the repercussions far outweigh the joys and Kaycee, though devilish in her charms, enjoys the teasing far more than what comes after. History: Kaycee found herself in the world of humans after an attempt to seduce, inspire, and dispose of one of the wanderers in her Barrowlands went horribly awry. She got sight of the poor, struggling poet and enticed him with a laugh while running past him, her fiery hair trailing behind him. The bait was taken, but as she led the man around the wooded Barrowlands, she stumbled upon a door, most unusual as it was attached to a tree. Thinking a woodsman had simply made an etching, Kaycee reached her hand out and to her great surprise there was the human world. Curious, she stepped through, wanting to take just a moment. And then the man she was attempting to trick into service closed the door behind her, her powers no longer affecting him once she crossed over. She tried and tried in vain to open the door and return to no avail. Stranded in a new, unfamiliar place was a terrifying experience, but with the aid of the previous landlord and some kindly humans, Kaycee adapted, though she hated –still does- having to cover her ears with her hair. When she discovered her powers worked on some humans, she decided against abusing them; there was nothing to gain from leading these already short lived people to an earlier grave, though she still loves the attention that comes from something as simple as a suggestive whisper. Likes: Arts and artists of all sorts, from painters and poets to stage performers and actors, musicians and all those inbetween. Dresses, since her time in the human world Kaycee has come to enjoy wearing and purchasing dresses, from the elegant to the short, she is very rarely wearing anything else. Attention. To say Kaycee thrives on attention is an understatement. The limelight is her favorite kind of light, so long as someone is focused on her she is content. Dislikes: Working. Kaycee is of the mind that others should do her work for her, including chores and housework. Rodents. Mice and rats and all inbetween. Filthy, ugly unartistic creatures. Litter. Anyone who casually tosses garbage around irks her to no end, and overly messy rooms or areas set her off. Sexual Orientation: Gender is irrelevant. The artistry is what matters.
