Really thinking about it, it's very likely actually. Her tentacles are strong enough to knock down a lighthouse in one hit, and long enough to reach said lighthouse. To knock it down they would have to be durable, and because bullets were being used, not swords, then they wouldn't have done much good on her tentacles, since they are made to pierce, not slice. Since Ikas tentacles only break from the thin sides, not the flat thick front and back. And since she can move them at Mach 3, ten tentacles could have destroyed anything that got within a mile of her.

Yikes. Bringing semiscience into these things sheds a terrifying new light on things.
