And there came the rebuttal. 'Technically'. Thing is, she didn't care about technicalities. In fact, people using technicalities to excuse things they clearly shouldn't have done, or in this case should have done but didn't, pissed her off. She growled, quickening her step as the man turned his back to her. Clearly this man didn't have experience with women, otherwise he would have known ignoring them when they were angry at you only made things worse. Zara put her gun away as she reached him. Then she grabbed him, pulling him to turn around, and slapping him right across the face with her non-mechanical hand. "Fuck you and your technicalities! You expect me to trust you yet you pull stunts like this?! Next time you pull a stunt like this instead of a fist you'll get a hail of bullets in your face!" The woman hadn't even realized that it wasn't a fist but an open hand that had hit him, as her focus was somewhere else at the moment. She wanted to hit him a few more times, but decided to let go instead. Getting too worked up for her was bad, as the virus would start taking over again. And she really could use the money this private company was offering. Plus, dealing with a were-beast was going to be tough even for her when she was going mental. The woman instead walked towards the closest corpse. So much meat was laying around, so it would be a bit of a waste if she didn't at least eat enough to be completely full. It would also help with calming her down a little bit more. Getting angry right after going wild meant that the adrenaline was still very much present. And she felt it was very likely that Kevin would piss her off again if she stuck around him for the next few minutes at least. Being a vampire wasn't all that bad if you remained sane. But it definitely had some major drawbacks here and there.
