[@Ace of flames01][@TheDarkTemplar] Years of his life flashed before him in the blink of an eye as he returned from the wood, his arms full with carrying a deer he had felled with a good throw of his hammer. Bartuc walked in silence as the unsettling notion came to him. Why had his weapon that had killed such evils in the world as Sar'Than been used to kill a deer? Where was the order? Why was he not fighting. Years of peace had not dulled that hunger for blood and madness that controlled him so why had he settled? In a community no less. His thoughts distracted him till he heard her cries. He saw the fire and ran as fast as his legs could carry him and found nothing but the charred remains of everything he loved. What hopes he had. Love, life, children, everything gone in a puff of smoke and the insecurities of this community he had given his trust to. Something felt wrong here. Not betrayal but the whole scene. It tickled the back of his mind but the blood was on him now. Vengeance would be his escape. His roar split the night as his hammer took the head off a villager entirely, his axe taking another life as he roared in useless fury at the village of cowards that had robbed him. Ruinil spoke of him being at fault and knew it for a lie, knew she could not think of him like that, they had been melded.. His axe took another man in the chest and his thoughts slammed back to 'reality'. The meld! He looked for it, that feeling of Ruinil and found it alive and well. She was in no pain at all but tasted of fear for.. him. She was a charred husk not far away from the litter of corpses he had made of the betrayers and it all made sense. "RUINIIIIL!" He roared into the night. The madness took him again and would not be dissuaded. Bartuc knew this place for a dream now. He didn't know how to get out so resolved for the next best option. Total destruction of this 'place' they had called home. His hammer erupted into flames as he tossed it at a nearby cabin and watched in satisfaction as the fireball tore it to splinters. His rage far from sated he continued on his rampage. Axe in both hands he slammed his axe down on anything he could see. Within minutes the small town was aflame. He cradled the charred remains and wept as the forest blazed.
