I will go for the basics for now, as a true indepth look at how the brain works with fear could, easily take all day. Fear is a chain reaction in the brain that starts with a stressful stimulus and ends with the release of chemicals that cause a racing heart, fast breathing and energized muscles, among other things, also known as the fight-or-flight response. Essentially, you're brain basically gets you working to fight, or run. Either way, it does it and your own sense of self, or your own protective instinct chooses whether you run, or punch what you fear basically. We can discuss more in class, if you come to my classes.
