I had not put any thought into it to be honest. Just remember though that upon graduation, the top performers are candidates for the Teen Titans, not the JL. That said I see nothing wrong with a bunch of kids forming their own clubs based on mutual interests whether that's collecting stamps or protecting the tropics.
