[/quote] Exactly. As an example, to eat one candy (although I myself do not eat candy other than chocolate) might, say, give some sugar and some energy that would be more readily converted into fat. However, some exercise would negate the bad effects--as long as you ate the candy in moderation. However, seeing as marijuana has immediate, powerful, and generally irreversible effects (specifically the effect on the lungs), then it can't even be used in moderation without sinning against your body. I'm not arguing for the sake of arguing; I'm arguing for the sake of you and the friends that you spend your time with. We should not be party to sin, and that includes allowing it to happen in our presence, because that sets a bad example (that it's not a sin, and therefore Christians can do it).
